You Don’t Need All the Answers

James reminds us that spiritual maturity doesn’t mean having all the answers; it means knowing where to go when we don’t. Rather than simply asking God to remove our difficulties, we can ask him for the wisdom to understand them, respond faithfully, and allow them to shape us. Because God is generous and gentle, we never have to be embarrassed by our need for help. And as we grow in wisdom, God often places wise, tested people around us who can help us become mature and faithful.
