Where Jesus Went for Strength

Jesus did not move through life untouched by weakness, exhaustion, temptation, sorrow, or limitation in his humanity. He lived dependent on the Father, empowered by the Spirit, and anchored in the Scriptures—and especially the Psalms. The same Word and Spirit Jesus reached for are available to us now, which means we can follow him not only in admiration, but in participation.
