The early church understood that fulfilling the mission of Jesus required both faithful servants and courageous senders. In Acts 6, leaders were raised up to meet practical needs so the ministry of the Word could continue, showing that every act of service matters. Those ordinary servants became extraordinary witnesses, and as persecution scattered believers, new churches were planted—including Antioch, which eventually became the missionary-sending church of the Apostle Paul. Today, God continues His mission through churches where people serve with excellence, give generously, and send others to take the gospel where it has not yet been heard.
