Partnering with Parents to make life-long followers of Jesus.

Helping Kids Know JEsus (and have a blast!)
Our goal is to create a safe, joyful, and engaging environment where kids can grow spiritually, build meaningful friendships, and discover that church is a place where they are loved, believed in, and excited to be.
What to Expect on Sundays

Stop by the Kids Check-In Area
When you arrive, head to the kids check-in area—our friendly team will be ready to welcome you.

Tell Us About Your Child
We'll take a moment to get to know you and your child. We’ll ask about any allergies, what your child likes to be called, and get your contact info.

Get Your Matching Stickers
You and your child will each receive a sticker with a matching code. Keep yours handy—it's how you'll pick up your child after the service.

Enjoy the Service
If we need to reach you during the gathering, we’ll send you a quick text.

What We Value in Parkside Kids
At Parkside, our values guide everything we do in Kids Ministry. From the stories we tell to the songs we sing, we're planting seeds of faith in a fun and engaging way, all while creating a space where kids feel known, safe, and excited to grow in their relationship with Jesus.

Partnering with Parents
At Parkside, we believe raising lifelong followers of Jesus is a team effort. As a parent, you play the biggest role in shaping your child's faith, and we’re here to support you every step of the way. With a little intentionality, we can help your child’s faith come alive.

Set aside regular rhythms—like family dinners, bedtime chats, or weekend routines—to explore faith and bring the Bible to life.

Embrace the opportunities presented in everyday life to create spiritual moments that help them mature in their faith.

From baby dedications to baptisms and everything in between—we love to mark milestones that show your child is growing in their faith and becoming who God made them to be.

Baby Dedications
Registration must be completed a minimum of two weeks prior to the requested Sunday.
Any Sunday is available for dedications with three exceptions:
- Easter
- Backyard Bash (2nd Sunday of Sept.)
- Sunday before Christmas
Multiple families can sign up for dedications on the same Sunday.
Questions About Our Kids Ministry
What age groups do you offer?
We offer classes for children from infants through middle school. Each group is cared for in a safe, age-appropriate environment where they can learn about God in a way that makes sense to them.
What will my kids do while I’m at service?
While you're in the main gathering, your kids will enjoy a time of worship, Bible stories, games, and activities designed to help them grow in their faith—and have a lot of fun, too!
What if my kids need special assistance?
We’re here to support every child. If your child needs additional assistance or accommodations, just let us know when you check in. We’ll work with you to make sure they feel safe, supported, and included. You can also email us at office@parksideindy.com before your visit to ensure we’re probably staffed.
What is the kids curriculum?
We use a Bible-based curriculum that's fun, engaging, and age-appropriate. Every lesson is designed to help kids understand God's love and learn how to follow Jesus in everyday life.
How do you ensure a safe environment?
Safety is a top priority for us. All of our volunteers are background-checked, trained, and follow strict safety policies. We also use a secure check-in/check-out system to ensure your child’s protection at every step.
Can my child stay with me during service?
Absolutely! Your child is always welcome to stay with you in the main gathering if that’s what’s best for your family.
Are there snacks?
Yes! We provide a small snack—Cheerios, Goldfish, or gluten-free crackers—for toddlers and preschoolers. There are no snacks served in the elementary or middle school classes.
What should my child bring?
You don’t need to bring much! If your child is still in diapers, please bring a diaper bag with anything they might need. If they regularly drink milk (especially under age 1), feel free to pack a bottle. For toddlers, you can also send a labeled water cup. Otherwise, just bring them ready to learn, play, and have fun—we’ll take care of the rest!
